Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul full results and highlights: Paul dominates Tyson in lackluster Netflix showdown
Mike Tyson may be in stellar shape for a 58-year-old, but Father Time still waits for no man. The Hall of Fame former heavyweight champion dropped a one-sided unanimous decision to Jake Paul, 27, on Friday at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, losing nearly every round on the scorecards and very much looking like an older man fighting someone more than three decades his junior.
In the end, the three ringside judges scored it 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 for Paul, giving the YouTuber turned pugilist another living legend on his résumé. Because the bout was a sanctioned professional contest, the result will now go on both fighters’ official professional records.
Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) slowed significantly after the opening round and by the end Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) appeared content to ride out the decision and not inflict further punishment on his aging foe.
Post-fight, Tyson indicated that he may compete in boxing again despite the loss.
In the much-anticipated co-featured bout, Katie Taylor (24-1, 6 KOs) once again defeated Amanda Serrano (47-3-1, 31 KOs) in an instant classic marred by divisive scorecards. Ireland’s Taylor, 38, took at trio of 95-94 scores over Puerto Rico’s Serrano, 36, to win a split decision and defend her super lightweight titles in another Fight of the Year contender.
Taylor won a split decision (97-93, 96-94, 94-96) over Serrano in their first meeting as well, an April 2022 thriller which served as the first women’s boxing bout to headline Madison Square Garden and was widely praised as 2022’s Fight of the Year.

Jake Paul clearly wanted to do just enough to win without ever really hurting Tyson and he did that. Also made a bunch of money for everyone involved. So … mission accomplished?

Tyson can’t come forward because his knees are gone. He can only move side to side. Pathetic scenes and the soundtrack is filled with boos #PaulTyson

Boxing is a dangerous sport, and the fact that a 58-year-old man with 215 professional rounds under his belt who can barely walk was cleared to fight is a disgrace. The boxing world was failed by those who are supposed to regulate it #PaulTyson
