It was a debut record for pop icon Anastacia, with singles I’m Outta Love and Not That Kind both in making it into the top 20 – and the star has continued to have global success ever since.

Now the US singer will celebrate the anniversary with a huge European tour for 2025.

The Not That Kind tour will take in in pop visit Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Ireland, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Ireland and the UK. And as part of the run, she’ll play Glasgow‘s Royal Concert Hall.

Anastacia, known for her powerful and recognisable voice, said: “I am beyond excited to be on the road again in Europe and blessed to get to come and perform in so many gorgeous places to my very special family

“I didn’t get to do a tour for my first album which makes this all the more special.

“I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since ‘Not That Kind’, we will be sure to celebrate in true Anastacia style. It’ll be one big anniversary party. I can’t wait to see you all there.”

The tour announcement comes hot on the heels of the success of Anastacia’s 2023 album of covers Our Songs.

The record celebrates the music the songstress fell in love with while in Germany and presents 12 English-language interpretations of German top hits from 1980-2020.

The album was a massive success around Europe – including a number two in the German album chart.

International Pop icon Anastacia launched her career in 1999, only to become the world’s best-selling new female pop artist two years later.

The mega voice behind massive hits including the multi-platinum ‘I’m Outta Love and Left Outside Alone has sold more than 30 million records since.
