Pig Stockperson – Ref 1583 Scottish/English Border – Pig World

We are recruiting for a Pig Stockperson/General Farm Worker for a farm north of the Scottish/English border (TD11).

The successful candidate will work on an 1100-sow outdoor breeding unit selling weaners at 7kg.

While tractor and loader experience is preferred, our clients are committed to providing comprehensive training, offering a great opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Job responsibilities include:

• Feeding
• Bedding
• Weaning
• AI pigs
• General pig stock work
• Operating farming machinery
• High welfare practices

Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 DOE
Potentially, single-person accommodation is available.

Hours: 8 am – 5 pm weekdays and every third weekend. Weekends are flexible.

A driving license is required for the job.
