Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for missing teenager

Police are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a 17-year-old boy who was reported missing from North Ayrshire.

Harley Craig was last seen in Kilbirnie at around 7am on Tuesday, July 16 and is believed to have travelled to Paisley and Barrhead.

He is described as being around 5ft 9, of slim build and has brown hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he is wearing.

Inspector Michael Cowan said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Harley’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact police.

“Likewise, if Harley sees or hears about this appeal, please call us, so we know you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information which could assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0700 of July 16.
