Police investigate ‘unexplained’ death near bridge
Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man near a bridge in Moray.
Officers closed off an area around Craigellachie Bridge near Aberlour on Sunday after being called to the area at around 4.45pm.
Police Scotland said while the death is being treated as unexplained, it is not thought to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 4.45pm on Sunday officers were called to the Craigellachie area following the sudden death of a man.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
