Popular TV comedian axes Scottish shows this weekend leaving fans devastated
A POPULAR TV comedian has been forced to postpone his upcoming Scottish shows – leaving fans devastated.
Tom Davis, best known for starring in the BBC sitcoms King Gary and Murder in Successville, has had to axe multiple gigs this weekend.
On his return to stand up, he was due to take to the stage in Aberdeen last night and perform his tour show Underdog at the Tivoli Theatre.
But it will now be rescheduled with Tom, 45, cancelling the show due to a family illness.
His gig at the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh tonight and two Glasgow shows on Saturday at the Oran Mor have also been postponed.
As well as the show at the Whitehall Theatre in Dundee on Sunday.

The comedian and actor is on his biggest tour to date, with support from Dinesh Nathan.
Taking to Instagram, he apologised to fans for postponing the shows.
He said: “I’m so sorry but due to family illness, I have had to postpone my shows this week in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee.
“Your point of purchase will be in touch regarding the new date as soon as possible and all tickets will remain valid for the new date.
“Please contact the ticket seller to request a refund.
“Apologies and big love, TD.”
Fans flocked to the comments to send well wishes to the comedian.
One person said: “Family always comes first. One of the main reasons I enjoy your work, is that it’s clear you are a very decent bloke.
“Hopefully we can make the new Aberdeen date but the main thing is you are there for your loved ones. Hope the family member is ok.”
Another wrote: “Gutted but family comes first! Will just make the show sweeter when it comes.”
A third commented: “Hope your family are okay Tom, family always comes first.”
And a fourth added: “Hope everyone is ok.”
