Priest-in-Charge (initially funded for 3 years) extendable to 5 years if considered to be successful at 2.5 years review.

These two Charges in the Scottish Episcopal Church are seeking a Priest to lead them into the next chapter of their ministry and mission in East Kilbride and Cambuslang.

• Do you have a faith committed to bringing the Gospel’s message of Jesus Christ to build the congregations and develop links within the wider community?

• Do you feel an excitement for leading Churches into a new phase of mission and ministry?

• Do you delight in seeing God at work amongst people in all age groups?

• Are you comfortable with Scottish Episcopal liturgies in our compassionate inclusive ethos?

• Do you have a good sense of humour!

We offer:

• Two different Churches both seeking leadership in discerning their future ministry

• a modern Rectory house in East Kilbride

• a Diocese which is open and outward looking as a church seeking to develop its relationships with Charge communities for mission and ministry

• the opportunity to develop the two Charges and discern the next steps in building the Kingdom of God in these significant geographical areas just south of Glasgow
