Reliever Michael Tonkin, who has had stints with both the Mets and Yankees this season, has found a new home.

Designated for assignment by the Yankees on Sunday, Tonkin has been claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins. Interestingly enough, this will be Tonkin’s second stint with the Twins this season, as he was traded by the Mets to Minnesota on April 5, only to be DFA’d by the team four days later.
