Riley Herbst, Stewart-Haas Racing dominate Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis
On a dominant day for Stewart-Haas Racing, Riley Herbst’s No. 98 Ford passed teammate Cole Custer and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Aric Almirola in a thrilling, two-lap shootout at the end to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The SHR drivers led a combined 77 of 100 laps in the Pennzoil 250, scoring the organization a 1-2 result.
Almirola, Shane van Gisbergen and Sheldon Creed rounded out the top five.

Austin Hill, Daniel Dye, AJ Allmendinger, Justin Allgaier and Carson Kvapil completed the top 10.
The Xfinity Series will get several weeks off before returning on Saturday, Aug. 17 for the next race at Michigan International Speedway.
