Rodri gets community noted Scotland style as he’s reminded of ‘hissy fit’

Rodri has been hit with a brutal X community note that reminds the Man City star of his Scotland night of pain.

The Spanish star has been the beating heart of Pep Guardiola’s side this season, and one that achieved a Treble last term that included Premier League plus Champions League glory. He tussled with Steve Clarke’s stars in Euro 2024 qualifying battle last year, with both teams eventually prevailing from the group and booking a place in Germany this summer.

His last defeat came back in February 2023.” And a community note has appeared beneath it reading “This is wrong. Rodri was part of the Spanish team that lost to Scotland on the 28th of March 2023.”

Scotland fans jumped on it, one saying “Surely that should be March 2023.” Another said “All competitions? Coz he had a hissy fit on air after Scotland beat him in March” while one more claimed “Ryan Porteous still has him in his back pocket.”

Rodri said in March: “For me, it’s a bit rubbish because it’s always wasting time. They provoke you. They always fall. This is for me not football. The referee has to take part of this and he says nothing.
