Royals Acquire Britt in Three-Team Deal
The Reading Royals gained some depth on their blueline by acquiring Logan Britt and Future Considerations from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits as part of a three-way trade.
In the transaction, Reading sent forward Devon Paliani to the Savannah Ghost Pirates in exchange for forward Brent Pedersen. The Royals then sent Pedersen to Greenville for Britt and Future Considerations.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Britt joins the Royals for his first full professional season after signing with the Swamp rabbits out of the University of North Dakota last April.
Last season with Greenville, the left-shot defenseman recorded an assist, four penalty minutes and a +3 rating in four regular season contests. He added an assist, two penalty minutes and a -1 rating in five Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Swamp Rabbits.

The 25-year-old Crystal Lake, Illinois native registered 54 points (15-39-54), 88 penalty minutes and a +31 rating in 171 NCAA career games between Quinnipiac University (2019-21), Sacred Heart University (2021-23) and the University of North Dakota (2023-24).
Britt played on two NCAA regular season champion teams with Sacred Heart in the ECAC in 2020-21 and Sioux Falls (NCHC) last season. He was also selected to the NCAA Atlantic Hockey Association’s Second All-Conference Team in 2021-22 with Sacred Heart.
Prior to college, Britt appeared in 66 games in the NAHL for the Aberdeen Wings, as well as 63 games for the Lincoln Stars and Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL. In Sioux Falls, he helped the club capture the 2019 Clark Cup Championship.
