While with the Sabres this season, Levi has struggled, posting a 2-6-0 record, a 3.97 goals-against average, and a .876 save percentage in eight games. Due to this, he has spent most of his time working on his development in the AHL with the Rochester Americans since November.

Levi has undoubtedly demonstrated his great upside with Rochester this season. In 14 appearances with the AHL squad this season, he has an 11-2-1 record, a 2.19 goals-against average, and a .914 save percentage. Yet, what’s more encouraging is that he only seems to get better as the season rolls on.

Levi has had a 4-0-0 record in his last four starts and had a .920 save percentage or better in three of them. This includes saving 33 out of 35 shots in his last appearance on Jan. 3 against the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Seeing Levi continuing to thrive in the AHL is great for the Sabres. It will be interesting to see how he builds on his strong play from here.
