Scotland’s Euro 2024 fan zone locations revealed as Tartan Army parties at home
SCOTLAND fans who can’t make it to Germany for Euro 2024 will still be able to soak up the atmosphere at special fan zones.
The national team’s matches will be shown on huge outdoor screens across the country.
Some are free community events while others will be run by events firms, with ticket prices up to £90 for a bench that seats six.
But the moves to get home-based supporters together was praised by Hamish Husband, of the Association of Tartan Army Clubs.
He said: “Fan zones are a great idea for those who can’t get to Germany.
“It will give them a chance to watch the Scotland games in a crowd.
“They will provide a brilliant atmosphere and a chance for folk to sit with each other and cheer on our team with family and pals.”
Hamish added: “I’m sure that most fans would want their local authorities to at least consider setting up a fan zone in their area. They would definitely be popular.”
Insch, Aberdeenshire
Bennachie Leisure Centre in Insch, Aberdeenshire, will host a screening of the tournament’s opening match between Germany and Scotland on June 14.
It’s free ticketed entry with a licensed bar that will be open to punters from 7pm until midnight.
Arbroath, Angus
Arbroath Harp Community Club is hosting a free family-friendly fan zone for the opener against Germany on June 14. There will be a large screen, bar, food vendors and live music from 4pm to 7.30pm. Contact the centre to reserve tickets.
Dumfermline, Fife
East End Park, the home of Dunfermline Athletic, will host screenings for group matches against Germany, Switzerland and Hungary.
Attractions include live acts, special guests, food trucks and bar.
Tickets cost up to £15 per match.
Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire
Broadwood Stadium will become a fan zone for the Germany and Hungary games. There will be a giant LED screen, entertainment and street food. The opening tie is sold out but the Hungary match is priced from £5 per person to £90 for a picnic table seating six.
Glasgow
Barras Art and Design (BAaD) is sold out for the Germany match but tickets for the other two cost from £22.65, which includes a drink and food.
Meanwhile SWG3, in the west end, will host Open Goal party events for the games, priced at £17.88 each. Germany is sold out.
Hamilton, South Lanarkshire
ALL three of Scotland’s group games will be shown live at Hamilton FC Community Stadium. Fan zone will feature live music, including bagpipes and DJs, football-related activities, face painting, food vendors and huge LED screen.
Tickets cost up to £15.
Irvine and Largs, North Ayrshire
FREE family-friendly events will be hosted by KA Leisure for our first two matches.
Tickets will be on a first come, first served basis.
Germany v Scotland is at The Portal, Irvine, on June 14, then the Switzerland game at Vikingar, Largs, on June 19.
Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire
THE Ayrshire Athletics Arena in Kilmarnock is showing all of our group matches on a giant screen, with live entertainment.

The Germany game is sold out.
Tickets for the other two are £45 for six people standing at a barrel and £90 for a bench seating six.
