ScotRail issues travel advice for Old Firm fans ahead of Scottish Cup Final

Travel advice has been issued ahead of today’s Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park.

ScotRail will be adding extra seats and services today, Saturday, May 25, as rivals Rangers and Celtic go head to head at the national stadium this weekend.

With a 3pm kick-off, bosses expect stations across the city to be jampacked. Queuing systems are to be put in place at Glasgow Central prior to the match, and then at Mount Florida and Kings Park following the conclusion of the game.

ScotRail said Celtic fans will queue for services to Kings Park via the main concourse at Central, while Rangers supporters will queue for services to Mount Florida via the carriage driveway on Hope Street.

In a bid to avoid trouble post match, Celtic fans will then travel via Kings Park, while Rangers supporters will use the Mount Florida station.

Passengers are advised to buy tickets in advance and allow for additional travel time. Drinking alcohol is also prohibited on trains or in stations.
