Scottish man arrested after sieging rooftop in major incident
A man has been arrested and charged after climbing on top of a roof in Fife.
Police and emergency services raced to the major incident at Victoria Road in Kirkcaldy at around 6.20pm on Saturday, May 25.
Footage from the scene shows the man on top of a property, gesticulating and throwing objects.

As the Daily Record reports, police and the fire brigade cordoned off the street as they attempted to assist the man. A police car and two fire appliances were spotted at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.20pm on Saturday, May, 25, 2024 we were called to a report of a disturbance on Victoria Road, Kirkcaldy.
“Emergency services attended. There were no reports of serious injuries.
“A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He’s due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 May, 2024.”
