Scottish model among islanders revealed ahead of Love Island 2023
A Scottish model has been announced as part of the new line-up of contestants heading into the Love Island villa.
With just one week to go, the show’s producers revealed the identities of the newest islanders on Monday.
Among the latest crop is Ella Thomas, from Glasgow, who will be heading to the Mallorcan villa hoping to find love from June 5.
The 23-year-old model is no newcomer to the limelight, having been previously been picked for an appearance in a music video by Headie One and Burna Boy.
She was also given a chance to film alongside Brad Pitt for Hollywood blockbuster World War Z when she was just 12 years old.
Telling ITV producers why she could be successful on the show, Thomas said: “I’m the whole package, I know what I want in life and I’ve got a big heart.
“I’d let the boys know that I’m wifey material so don’t play with me!”
The tenth series of Love Island will kick off at 9pm on June 5, on ITV2 and ITVX.
This year’s instalment will give viewers the chance to decide which contestants couple up in the first episode, with voting open on the Love Island app between 8am on Thursday and 9pm on Friday.
