Shocking moment man has bottle smashed over head as brawl erupts at Glasgow bar

THIS is the moment a thug smashes a bottle over a man’s head as a violent brawl erupted at a Glasgow bar during Scotland’s Euro clash.

The ugly scenes were captured by horrified punters as footie revellers flocked to the bar for the match against Germany on Friday night.

Loud screams from the crowd are heard as the glass explodes and the man falls to the floor at Wunderbar.

The fight broke out at the city centre venue as the national side suffered a 5-1 drubbing by the host nation at the weekend.

The German inspired beer hall was hosting a Euro2024 watch party on big screens within the Springfield Court venue when the fight broke out.

As the brawl continues, security staff and other punters are spotted trying to break it up as several people try to escape.

But just as the bouncers try to push him away, the man proceeds to pick up a bottle on a nearby table and smash it several times until it shatters.

The brawl eventually stops after the men are separated by several security staff.

Today, Wunderbar confirmed that they are aware of the “isolated incident” at their city centre premises and said they are working with Police Scotland as they probe the incident.

A spokesperson said: “SGL, the UK and Ireland‘s largest and most accredited provider of door supervisors, is aware of an isolated incident in Wunderbar City Centre.
