Spotify podcaster Alex Cooper signs with SiriusXM for $125M
Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper is moving her show from Spotify (SPOT) to Sirius XM (SIRI) after being offered a three-year deal worth $125 million from the radio and broadcasting giant. Sirius XM shares are popping in Tuesday’s trading session on this news.

Spotify, also losing one of its biggest, I guess biggest and best Alex Cooper call her daddy.
It wasn’t that long ago that we saw that landmark deal from her $60 million.
Now she’s going to serious and we’re not seeing a lot of action.
Spotify shares, but last track serious XM shares.
They were up around 7% on this news, and you certainly would think that this is going to help.
Serious moving forward.
They already have Howard.
Now they have Alex Cooper and the daddy joining.
She has a very dedicated fan base, and the thinking there is that A lot of those fans that followed her on Spotify are now going to go to see that the agreement is worth a reported $100 million for more than three years.
She’s going to exclusively distribute this through serious.
That means serious will have the ability to advertise for both the video portion along with the audio portion.
So that is something that I think is definitely going to help.

You know, Spotify.
Before this arrangement, they had been leaning more into a distribution model for a lot of their podcasts, so you could find Alex Cooper’s podcast on Apple and Amazon and other types of things.
This seems to be like it’s an exclusive to Sir, so you’re not going to be able to access this unless you’re a kind of like, kind of like Howard Stern.
Exactly.
And and, by the way, whose contract expires at the end of next year.
So maybe the old switcheroo potential.
I mean, I don’t know that Howard is going anywhere, but it isn’t.
But that is something that’s and, you know, a lot of people have described Alex Cooper as the Howards, the female Howard Stern essentially, And now you have Sirius having two of the top podcasts.
What will this mean for the Have they been on each other’s programmes?
That would be, That would be cool.
