Pittsburgh Steelers star T.J. Watt went down with a non-contact foot injury late on Sunday afternoon in their game against the Philadelphia Eagles

Watt, while trying to get to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts in the fourth quarter at Lincoln Financial Field, suddenly started hopping while favoring his left foot. Watt didn’t seem to do anything specifically, but he fell to the ground clearly in a lot of pain.

He made it to their sidelines on his own, but immediately went to be checked out by the team’s medical staff.

Watt did not return to the game. He was seen throwing his gloves to the ground and walking to the locker room after leaving the medical tent. He finished with seven tackles and two sacks in the loss. Further specifics of his injury are not known.

Watt has 40 total tackles and 11.5 sacks so far this season, his eighth with the team. The Steelers entered Sunday with a 10-3 record, though they trailed the Eagles 27-13 when Watt went down.

This post will be updated with more information shortly.
