Stefan Noesen Welcomed Back To Lenovo Center
The Carolina Hurricanes welcomed back forward Stefan Noesen during the first period of their game against the New Jersey Devils.
Noesen was tossing pucks to Canes fans before the game and when his welcome shoutout came on the video boards, he was met with a standing ovation.
The 31-year-old forward played parts of three seasons for the Hurricanes where he had 27 goals and 73 points in 161 games.
“He plays hard,” said Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour on his former player. “He’s got a real knack for the offensive side of things and he knows where to be and can score. That’s why we really appreciated him while we had him.”
In the offseason, Noesen signed a three-year, $2.75 million AAV deal with the New Jersey Devils, his former team from 2016-2019.
