So we know that, with the squad back up to 28, two players will have to go before the final squad is named.

Lyndon Dykes and Ben Doak pulled out with injury but the call-ups of Tommy Conway and Lewis Morgan mean it’s back to where it was when it was originally announced.

We’re assuming that one goalkeeper will be cut – that won’t make a huge difference, as tournament rules allow for a fourth goalkeeper to travel in reserve, who can then be called up if there’s an injury.

It means that one outfield player will have to go as things stand.

Is he likely to cut one of the two he’s just called up? You’d think not. Conway is a straight swap for Dykes, and you wouldn’t imagine Clarke has decided to drag Morgan across the Atlantic just to send him back home.

So who’s at risk? One of the centre-backs, maybe? It will be telling who doesn’t feature tomorrow.
