Taylor Swift stuns in Scots boutique’s £58 dress as designer in ‘state of shock’

A SCOTS designer has been left in a “state of shock” after Taylor Swift wore her dress on a night out – and it sold out in hours.

The Cruel Summer singer, 34, was spotted rocking the green velvet frock from Perthshire-based fashion label Little Lies in New York last night.

The star was out for dinner with celeb pals Blake Lively and Zoe Kravitz as she stunned in the £58 Sweet Jane Crushed Mini Dress, paired with thigh high tan boots.

The powerful influence of Taylor led to the dress selling out in a matter of hours.

But Swifties can rejoice, as it is now available on pre-order in both olive and black.

Little Lies co-founder Jade Robertson spoke of her excitement about the brand’s newest fan.

She said: “We can’t believe it! I think we’re all still in a state of shock to be honest.

“To see one of the most recognisable people in the world wearing one of our designs is insane.

“We were already massive Taylor Swift fans and having her seal of approval means so much to us.”

Jade founded the award-winning, indie family business with her husband Stuart.

The pair started out with an online boutique based out of their bedroom, bringing together their love of music, style, and vintage.

Since its inception in 2015, Little Lies has drawn from core inspirations, building a strong brand image whilst staying true to their roots and gaining a loyal following in the process.

The brand’s influences are key muses and subcultures, as opposed to current trends, resulting in a product that is timeless and appealing to their customers’ personal style.

Designed in Perthshire, all styles are also inclusively available in UK sizes 8-24 and created in small, sustainable limited runs.

This ensures they don’t overproduce, creating minimal waste along with unique products.

With a focus on creating unique but timeless pieces that are different to what you find on the high street.

They aim to provide considered, quality garments you’ll take with you through life.
