The Princess of Wales wears this season’s trendiest countryside jacket
By now, royal fans are probably well acquainted with the Princess of Wales’s polished wardrobe, which often invokes the likes of Alexander McQueen coatdresses, Gianvito Rossi pumps, and—as of late—a perfectly tailored suit. Still, Kate is just as capable of pulling off a laid-back outfit as she is of debuting a luxe ensemble from her sartorial arsenal.
Proving this point, Kate made a casual appearance in Scotland, where she coordinated with Prince William in earthy green outfits. Kate appropriately embraced one of this season’s biggest outerwear trends with a military-green quilted jacket. The royal’s jacket hails from Burberry and features the brand’s iconic tan-and-black plaid pattern. She finished off the cosy look with a black knit turtleneck, black bootcut jeans, a pair of brown leather Chelsea boots from Reiss, and gold hoop earrings with a tiny garnet charm from Spells of Love.
Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales coordinated with his wife in a dark green hooded jacket layered over a light blue button-up. He additionally wore dark blue trousers and a pair of brown lace-up boots.
Both William and Kate also wore a red poppy pin on their jackets, a symbol that has been used by the royal family since 1921 to honour military personnel who lost their lives in war.
During their outing, William and Kate—who are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland—visited the charity organisation Outfit Moray, which provides outdoor learning and adventure services for youths.
