Tyson Doucette Commits To Colgate

Sarnia Sting forward Tyson Doucette has committed to Colgate, it was announced earlier this week.

A product of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Doucette is currently in his overage season with the Sting, having put up 13 goals and nine assists for 22 points in 32 games.

Signing with the Sting as an undrafted free agent before the 2022-23 season, Doucette has gone on to play three seasons with the team. Through 158 career regular season games, he has collected 40 goals and 36 assists for 76 points.

With Doucette joining the Raiders next year, he will bring with him a game centered around his goal scoring ability. Capable of scoring from pretty much anywhere, he is a threat when given space and should be able to come in and produce as soon as he steps foot on campus.
