When will your new MP be announced? Declaration times listed
Voters across the UK will head to the polls on Thursday to take part in the General Election.
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm at which point election staff will begin counting each and every ballot until a winner is announced.
Scotland has 57 constituencies this time around, down from 59 in the last parliament.
Depending on which constituency you’re in, results could be announced as soon as 1am in Scotland while others won’t come in until around 6am.
All timings are approximate and can be affected by issues such as delays in verifying and counting ballots, or by recounts.
There have been substantial boundary changes at this election, meaning there is more uncertainty around the timings listed below.
