Wishaw nursery raises thousands for well-known Scottish children’s charity
Kids and staff at a Wishaw nursery raised thousands for a well-known Scottish children’s charity.
Cabbage Patch Nursery in the town’s Netherton Road hosted a fun-filled day earlier this month in aid of Cash for Kids, which helps supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those who have additional needs.
An incredible £6000 was raised with the bumper cheque being handed over to the charity’s representative as well as mascot Courage the Cat.

Ashlea Lambert, from Cabbage Patch Nursery, said: “We had a sponsored dance-a-thon where staff and children dressed up in 1980s style.
“It was a great day and all children made a huge effort and the staff.
“Cash for Kids is an important charity to our company so we focus on raising as much as we can for them each year.”
